Budgtefon's Adapter - Easy Installation:
first steps
Use this cable (1), found in the package, to connect any analogue phone. Plug this cable to the Adaptor at port 1 „PHONE“ as shown in Diagram (4).
Use this cable (2), found in the package, to connect the Adaptor to your Internet point of access (modem or router). Plug this cable to the Adaptor at port 2 „LAN“ as shown in Diagram (4).
Use this power supply (3), found in the package, to connect the Adaptor. Plug this power supply at port 3 „POWER“ as shown in Diagram (4).
After you connected all the cables, wait few minutes until the „READY“ (5.3) light is on. The Adaptor is ready to be activated. Go direct to https://regi.budgetfon.com/bfreg/ or http://www.budgtefon.com and then click the „GO“ button.
Adaptor's Status lights:
1- Message in voice-mail
2- Phone port is active
3- Adaptor is ready to make a call
4- Enternet port is active
5- Adaptor is powered up

Q: Why is the POWER light not on?
A: Check your power connection.

Q: Why is the LINK light not on or flashing?
A: The Adaptor does not get any Internet connection. Check your Internet connection.

Q: Why is the READY light not on?
A: If the LINK light is on, then this means that your account is not activated. Get online for more help.

Q: Why LED (3) “LINK” is not turned on?
A: disconnect the device from the power supply for few seconds and reconnect it again. If it is still not turn on, then disconnect the device and the router / modem for the power supply for few seconds and reconnect first the device and then the router and the modem.

Q: My firewall is blocking the Budgetfon service, what should I do?
A: The following ports on the firewall should be open: SIP Port 5060 using UDP protocol, RTP ports 8'000 through 20'000 using UDP protocol.

Q: The calls are disconnected after few seconds...?
A: This is a firewall issue; please check your firewall settings.

Q: What is my Budgetfon Account number?
A: Dial “123” to hear your account number.

Q: How do I know if the device and my account are connected?
A: Dial “123” and see if you hear your account number, otherwise follow the installation steps.

Q: Why there is no ring tone after I dial a number?
A: Check if the LINK and READY lights are on. Check if the VoIP light is on or flashing. Check if your phone
device is an analogue. Get online for more support.

Q: Why do I hear the other side's voice breaking? / Why does the other side hear my voice breaking?
A: This means that your Internet bandwidth is overloaded or the quality of the Internet connection is not good
enough.

Q: Why do I not hear the other side? / Why does the other side not hear me?
A: The voice service is blocked by your firewall. Make sure that port 5060 is opened on your firewall.

Making Calls
Who can I call using Budgetfon© services?
You can call any Budgetfon© subscriber for free and any fixed or mobile phone network at a special low rate.

How do I make a free call to another Budgetfon© member?
Simply dial their Budgetfon© telephone number or their Budgetfon© internal number if they do not have a telephone number.

Can I make call and surf simultaneously on the internet?
Yes, you can do both in the same time. However, if you are downloading a big file, the quality of the voice could be slightly affected. It may be that the other party will not feel any different, but you will hear the other side voice is breaking.

Can I make calls also without an own Budgetfon© telephone number?
Yes, you can make calls as long as your account balance allow you this. However, as you do not have an own telephone number, unfortunately nobody will be able to reach you anymore uless they are also Budgetfon© members.

My Account
How can I access my account?
You have to login under my account situated on the top right of each Budgetfon© web page. https://myacc.budgetfon.com/
Can I check the costs of each of my calls?
YES – you have to go to Calling Records and you will see all the details of every call.
How can I buy prepaid minutes?
You can always look at your balance under Payment History/Balance. If you need to buy additional prepaid minutes, just click to Add Funds.
How do I access and use my voicemail?
Go to voicemail and activate your voicemail. The voice messages are also delivered to your email inbox as attachments. If you do not receive any e-mail, check also in the bulk of your provider.
Is the Call Forwarding service free of charge?
Yes! it is included in the plan you have. However you need to have sufficient credit in order to pay the cost of communication to the forwarding number.
